He has worked extensively with Malaria Consortium, Society for Family Health, and the Niger State Ministry of Health, supporting donor-funded interventions such as Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC), MNCH, COVID-19 response, CMAM, BHCPF, and nutrition programs. Umar’s technical strengths include monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data quality assurance, and digital health systems such as DHIS2, Kobo Collect, ODK, and SurveyCTO. He has led field supervision, logistics coordination, and stakeholder engagement across multiple LGAs, ensuring alignment with national health policies and donor expectations. He has successfully supervised endline surveys, MNCH Week activities, and emergency response efforts, consistently delivering high-quality data and actionable insights. Umar holds an MSc in Health Economics from Bayero University Kano and a BSc in Economics from IBB University, Lapai.
