About

Nazifi Dayyabu is a dedicated chemistry educator and researcher with strong academic and professional experience in science education. He obtained an NCE with Distinction from the Federal College of Education Azare and a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Chemistry with First Class Honours from the University of Maiduguri. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Abuja. With more than five years of teaching experience, he has developed expertise in chemistry instruction, laboratory management, curriculum development, and mentoring students for national examinations such as WAEC. He has taught in several secondary schools and STEM-focused institutions, helping students build strong foundations in science and critical thinking. Nazifi has also demonstrated leadership and professional engagement through his role as Chapter President of the Chemical Society of Nigeria, where he supported academic collaboration and professional development among chemistry students and educators. In addition, he has participated in leadership development initiatives such as the Young African Leaders Initiative program. His strengths include academic excellence, leadership ability, resilience, and a strong commitment to educational development. He is particularly passionate about improving access to quality education and addressing gender disparities in education, especially for girls in Northern Nigeria. Despite challenges such as limited resources and demanding responsibilities, he remains determined to contribute to education reform, research, and sustainable development.
