About
I am a Microbiology graduate from Bauchi State University Gadau with hands-on experience in public health, water quality monitoring, and community development. My field experience includes data collection, laboratory analysis, and hygiene education with RUWASSA, the Nigerian Red Cross, and health clinics in Gombe. My strengths include proficiency in digital data tools such as KOBO Collect and MS Excel, strong skills in field surveys and water quality testing, and a deep commitment to culturally sensitive community engagement. I am detail-oriented, adaptable, and experienced in disease surveillance and public health reporting. My research focus lies at the intersection of environmental microbiology, climate resilience, and public health. I am particularly interested in community-led water safety, waterborne disease surveillance, and integrating environmental data into primary healthcare systems to enable more preventive and proactive health responses in vulnerable communities.
