I am a development economist and research professional with over six years of experience working at the intersection of monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and policy research. My work focuses on using data and evidence to support better decision-making in development programmes. I have contributed to projects across social protection, education systems, agriculture, and governance programmes in Nigeria, working with government institutions, development partners, and consulting firms. My core strengths lie in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, managing field data collection, and conducting quantitative and mixed-method research. I have supervised field teams, managed large datasets, and produced analytical reports that inform policy discussions and programme improvement. I am proficient in analytical tools such as Stata, Excel, Power BI, and SurveyCTO, and I have hands-on experience translating complex datasets into clear insights for stakeholders. My research interests focus on development economics, energy and climate policy, poverty and social protection systems, and the role of data in strengthening public sector decision-making. Through both academic work and professional engagements, I am particularly interested in how evidence-based research can shape policies that improve livelihoods, strengthen institutions, and promote sustainable development in emerging economies.
