I am a dedicated, detail-oriented, and results-driven Research Assistant with hands-on experience supporting field-based research projects in public health and community development. I have contributed to impactful research initiatives through my work with Sydani Group on Project RISE in Garun Malam LGA, where I supported a baseline study focused on misinformation and disinformation. In this role, I was responsible for conducting household-level data collection, administering structured questionnaires, and engaging directly with community members to gather accurate and reliable information. I ensured proper documentation of field activities and maintained high standards of data quality, consistency, and ethical compliance throughout the research process. I bring strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable me to effectively interact with diverse populations, including community leaders, stakeholders, and research teams. I am experienced in facilitating interviews, supporting focus group discussions, and addressing community concerns with cultural sensitivity and professionalism. I also have practical experience in data validation, verification, and quality control processes, ensuring that research outputs meet required standards and contribute meaningfully to evidence-based decision-making. Beyond my research experience, I have demonstrated leadership and organizational capacity through my role as an LGA Supervisor during the MDA-AZM program in Kura LGA. In this position, I supervised and coordinated field teams, monitored daily implementation activities, ensured compliance with operational guidelines, and provided timely feedback to improve performance and achieve program targets. I am highly organized, adaptable, and capable of working effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
