About
As a public health parasitologist and NTD researcher, I have a strong background in the biology, epidemiology, and control of neglected tropical diseases, particularly, schistosomiasis and it’s genital manifestations in females and soil-transmitted helminthiasis. I have acquired multiple certifications demonstrating my proficiency in handling and analyzing complex health data sets and conducting ethical and rigorous research. I am committed to improving health outcomes in communities through meticulous data analysis and insightful research, and I am eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals to advance the global agenda for NTD control and elimination. I am also an advocate for the One Health approach, which recognizes the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health, and the need for multidisciplinary and multisectoral collaboration.
