David Richard Opeyemi is a public health data and environmental research professional with over five years of experience in health systems strengthening, environmental health, and program implementation. He holds an M.Sc. in Bioscience and Biotechnology with specialization in Environmental Biology and Toxicology from the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo. His work integrates environmental toxicology, climate change, and public health research with strong expertise in health data management, monitoring and evaluation, and policy-informed field research. David has contributed to major development initiatives supported by UNICEF, APIN Public Health Initiatives, and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, where he supported data-driven decision-making, primary health care performance monitoring, and child welfare research. His research focuses on environmental pollution, toxic metal contamination, ecological risk assessment, and the links between environmental degradation, climate change, and human health.
