Background, Strengths, and Research Focus. My background is in development-focused work with a strong interest in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) and data-driven decision-making in the nonprofit sector. I have experience supporting field-based programs and understand the importance of collecting accurate data to evaluate program impact and improve service delivery. One of my key strengths is my attention to detail and ability to work effectively in field environments. I am comfortable interacting with community members, collecting and verifying data, and ensuring that information gathered reflects the realities on the ground. I am also organized, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively within diverse teams. My research focus is centered on understanding how development interventions affect rural communities, particularly smallholder farmers. I am especially interested in how data collection and evaluation systems can be used to improve program effectiveness, strengthen accountability, and support evidence-based decision-making within development organizations.
